Swing by. Say hi.
Originally from Ontario, Canada, Eve grew up in Phoenix and received her degree in graphic design from the Herberger Institute for Design and the Arts at Arizona State University. At Six Degrees, Eve helps visualize ideas, concepts and messages in innovative and provocative ways to bring the brand strategy to life in the most effective and efficient manner. Eve is currently pursuing a master’s degree at the intersection of biology and design.
Eve is all over biomimicry … in fact, she’s getting her master’s degree in it. What is biomimicry, you ask? It is design that emulates biological forms, systems and processes in a sustainable manner.
In her free time, Eve likes to engage in a wide variety of activities, such as listening to audiobooks, solving those difficult sudoku puzzles, boning up on what’s new in biology and killing zombies in “Call of Duty.” We did say “wide variety” …
Eve’s karma is to leave the world a little bit better than when she came into it.
Eve is like a Double Double from Tim Hortons – not just because it’s “the best damn coffee Canada has to offer,” but because she’s all about rolling up her sleeves and getting down to the business at hand.
DIRECTOR OF MARKETING AUTOMATION
Katie is responsible for applying marketing automation techniques to our marketing and advertising efforts for clients as well as for Six Degrees. She has more than nine years of experience across most major platforms, working with clients such as Align Tech, American Express and Marriott. Katie grew up in Silicon Valley, so we’re very happy and excited that she chose to remain in Arizona after college.
Katie’s passion for digital and marketing automation was spurred on by one of her first mentors, who took her under his wing and entrusted her with bigger and bigger projects. We’re all grateful because it inspired a love for automated marketing that benefits Six Degrees and our clients today!
Even a digital prodigy needs to go analog once in awhile. Katie loves hiking with her friends in her free time. Fortunately, Arizona has no shortage of beautiful trails and stunning vistas.
Katie is unafraid of doing things differently … but with focus. Her mantra is: “Decide what you want. Write it down. Make a plan. And work on it every single day.”
A positive, uplifting attitude makes encounters with Katie a pleasant affair. Her kindness and compassion led her to several African countries in support of clean water projects for local people.
A rare native of Phoenix, Katelyn cut her marketing teeth at a small digital marketing agency for several years before joining Six Degrees. She is passionate about marketing and always sees the good in every situation and person. Katelyn likes to travel, hike and spend time with her family when she’s not taking care of client work. Katelyn also serves as marketing chair for the Women’s Enterprise Foundation.
Katelyn by another name is Katie or Kate or Kay, though her grandmother used to call her “Katie Old Tool” (not because Katelyn’s old … come on, really, look at her pic!) but because she was always there to help her grandmother with diverse business ventures. Cool!
Katelyn will give the impression of being on the shy side and a bit reserved. But lurking behind that facade is quite the jokester. Don’t say you haven’t been warned!
Often the specific end goal of a project isn’t apparent at the start of an engagement. Katelyn is skilled at discovering and driving toward the right objective.
Katelyn is like passion fruit tea because she’s calm under pressure but has the energy to get through the day.
Julie moved from Milwaukee to the Valley of the Sun to be closer to her in-laws and to enjoy tennis and hiking on a year-round basis. For the past 16 years she has been developing creative design solutions primarily for B2B clients, including Abbott, MinXray, Snap-on Tools and Spee-Dee Packaging Machinery. She is most inspired by human resilience.
Julie’s nickname is “Jules,” though we’d spell it “Jewels” at the agency because, time and again, Julie produces great creative in quiet confidence.
Julie admits to being good at making time disappear. “Hidden” talent, indeed.
Julie is listed under “Perverts” in the credits of Jeffrey Schwarz’s 2013 documentary film “I Am Divine” for contributing to the funding of the film.
“A margarita, because it’s equal parts sweet, tart, salty and refreshing.”
